GROCERY STORE GUTTED
STOCK DESTROYED. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 8. Fire this morning gutted a grocery and confectionery store in MaoLaggan street, occupied by E. G. Jones. The stock was lost, and was insured for £SOO. The building waa owned by Sommerville Bros, ana Jenkins, and was insured for £BOO. The building was formerly the Bullmouth Hotel. FIRE AT FOXTON Per Press Association. FOXTON, February 5. The residence of Mr F. Harris, a poultry farmer, on the outskirts of the borough, was totally destroyed by fire with its contents on Saturday night. The insurance is £650 in the New Zeeland office.
