BAGWELL’S CAPTURE
REPUBLICANS DENY RELEASE, REFUGE IN ENGLAND. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received February 4. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, February 2. The Republicans deny that Senator Bagwell was released. It is understood he escaped, and is now in England. Senator Bagwell was kidnapped, hut following a threat of reprisals, is now at liberty again.
