COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE

ON SERIOUS CHARGE. William Frederick Kennedy appeared before Mr W. G. Riddell, S.M., at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. He vas charged with having committed indecent assault upon a hoy of ten years, and his age was given as 39, hj,s occupation, night-porter. Sub-Inspector Cummings conducted the case for the police, and Mr A. B. Siovwright represented the accused. At the conclusion of the evidenco, which was taken in a cleared court, accused entered a plea of guilty, and ".’as committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
