General entries covering sohools, needlework, homo industries, and photography dose on October 7th. This year is to be a notable event for the Manawatu Kennel dub, the show being an “all championship” one. Consequently a very large entry from all over the Dominion is expected. The closing date for entries m this section is also October 7th. A visit to Palmerston North when the big show is running is well worthy of consideration, 4nd attention is drawn thus early to the fact that the assemblage is. always great and accommodation becomes scarce aa the dates approach. Those who contemplate participating in the competitive classes diould get into touch with the secretary; Box 85, Palmerston North, who vrill supply all information.
