STATE TRAWLING
LOSS IN NEW SOUTH WALES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. SYDNEY, Jutly 1. Mr Oakes stated that the trawling industry showed a loss of £33,000 on last year’s operations. It was due to the increase in working and general expenses. The receipts totalled £16,000 [ess than in the previous year, owing chiefly to the shortage of fislh in the usual trawling grounds. Representations were 'being made to the Tasmanian Government to obtain permission to trawl in its waters.
