REFORMATIVE TREATMENT
FOLLOWS THEFT CHARGER. "‘Eleanor McWalker pleaded guilty, in tbe Magistrate’s Court, yesterday, to charges of having stolen various articles of clothing from the Bellevue Hotel. Mr C. A. L. Treadwell, who appeared for her, said her circumstances were unfortunate, and that certain health conditions had temporarily influenced her actions. A sentence of eighteen months’ reformative treatment was imposed.
