FARMING INSTRUCTION
DEPARTMENTAL EXPERTS’ SERVICES APPRECIATED. "Tie services of the Department of Agriculture’s expert and instructional officers continue to be fully availed of by the farming community, and many appreciative references regarding the excellence of the service that is being rendered have been received by the Director-General of Agriculture. In conjunction with the technical branch of the Auckland Education Board, farm schools, for teachers and farmers have been successfully held at Ruakura Farm of Instruction. The benefit to be derived from tbeee classes is being appreciated to such an extent that it has been found necessary to hold two schools ia order to provide for the increasing number of applicants for instruction. At the present time one of the schools ia in fnll swing at Rnakura.
