PUBLIC WORKS MINISTER
LEAVES FOR NORTH TO-MORROW. AUCKLAND ENGAGEMENTS. The Hon. J. G. Coates, PostmasterGeneral and Minister for Public Works, leaves Wellington to-morrow evening fer the north. On Thursday he is to open officially the post office at Taupriri and the new traffic bridge at Ngaruawahia. He remains the night at Hamilton, and the following day he will visit the Rnakura State farm, and the Horahora and Arapuni hydro-electric works. The Minister arrives in Auckland by the early express on Saturday morning, and will visit the Waiuku and Pollok settlement, and also traverse the Waiuku branch railway. On Monday he will reoeivo deputations in Auckland. In the evening he is to officially open the post office at Mangarewa, and returns to Wellington by Monday night's express. He will probably be leaving Wellington again on Monday, August Bth, for Auckland and his electorate.
