The latter broke off Hie engagement whereupon the i unsuccessful househunter fatally shot her and surrendered to the police. There are many cases of did people hanging or dr owning themselves as the result of ejection from their hones. The Housing Relief Society in Toulon forcibly seized empty convents in defiance of Hie authorities and installed homeless families in them. ■
