THOSE 2000 IMMIGRANTS.
Referring yesterday to the recent cablegram- from London, stating that some 2000 immigrants would leave for 'New Zealand in June, and possibly a thousand ex-service immigrants would come out in August, the Hon. ’W. Nosworthy, Minister for Immigration, said that these immigrants were all persons who had been nominated and guaranteed employment by friends or relative®. There was no departure in thjs respect from the policy recently announced by the Government that immigration, except for persons for whom employment and accommodation was guaranteed, would be temporarily, suspended, _______
