DUNEDIN WOOL SALES. PRS PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, March 16. Tho wool sales were continued to-day. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile 00., Ltd., offered 2100 bales and sold about one-fourth of this quantity There' was no sign of a revival in the market, but this firm happened to have wool suited for tho local mills, namely, best merinos and halfbreds, that being the reason for the relatively high proportion quitted. The highest prico was ll|d for four bales of ewe and wether halfbred. . Crossbreds are again languishing, and it is obvious from tho tone of tho sales that buyers have no further instructions from Home. the timartt sales. TIMARU, March 16. The date of the Timaru wool sale, which has been altered fro«TL time to time, has now been fixed finally for Monday, March 21st. About 12,000 bales have been catalogued.
