SWIMMING CARNIVAL
A very excellent sports programme has been arranged for the swimming carnival which is to take place to-mor-row evening at the Tepid Bathe, Tasman street. The principal event is the deciding of the 100 yards Now Zealand Swimming Championship, competed for in Auckland last month, but to bo reswum on account of a'.foul. Dalton, the Canterbury representative to compete for the championship, arrived in Wellington yesterday, but Baird and Bailey, the Aucklanders, have yet to arrive. Claridgo will represent Wellington, and a most interesting contest is expected.
