RAINFALL IN AUCKLAND
A Press Association ‘ message fror( Auckland yesterday stated that the rain, fail had been very heavy in the district, During the twenty-four hours ending a) 9 o’clock yesterday morning the rain, fall recorded in Auckland city was 4.0 j inches. 1.94 INCHES AT WELLINGTON. The rainfall registered in Welling, ton for the 24 hours ending at nine o’clock yesterday morning, was 1.94 inches, at Greymouth it was 2.73 in. ohes, at Wanganui 1.50 inches, at Foxton 1.88 inches, and at the Beale) .92 inches. A number of stations throughoul the Dominion have failed to add " tha amount of rainfall to the reports. .
