STATISTICIAN'S' FIGURES. PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND. March 23. Figures supplied by the Government Statistician were ' questioned at tho Arbitration Court this morning by tho secretary of the Auckland Tailors' Union, when applying for the bonus recently granted by the court. "I contend," ho said, "that tho Government Statistician gets his figures from where quantities are dealt in. • The worker, however, has to buy in the most casual manner, because his means will not permit him to do otherwise, and in buying in that manner tho cost is relatively highw/'
