Copy of cablegram from tho Director of Raw Materials, London, to the Department of Imperial Government Supplies, Wellington, dated March 18th, 1920: ’’Series 3 of sales commenced March 16th with firm tone. Merinos and fine crossbreds are 5 per cent dearer than at end of February auctions, but position regarding medium and coarse crossbreds is not altered, although tendency of .market bettol. Prices for slipes and scoured crossbreds are practically unchanged.
