COAL SUPPLY
“WELLINGTON WILL NOT BE ' STOCK.’’ 1
Councillor J. 0. Shorland stated at last evening's meeting of the City Council that he had just received a telephone message from the deputychairman of the Coal Committee to the effect that the Wellington City Corporation would receive its full supply of Westport and Stockton coal. The whole of the output by the miners would go do Wellington. “The latest information,” he added, “is that the Wellington City Council will not be stuck for Westport coal or Stockton coal.”
