CRICKET MATCHES
HAWKE’S BAY v. WELLINGTON. Tho secretary of the Wellington Cricket Association has received telegraphic advice that the Hawke’s Bay representatives will arrive in Wellington to-morrow (Thursday) evening for the purpose of playing a match with the Wellington representatives this coming week-end. This is the first occasion for some years on which this very interesting fixture will be played inWellington. The- Wellington team has already- been published, and as it is expected that the Hawke’s Bay side will be n strong one a very good game should eventuate. Play commences on Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
