MORNINGTON GOLF CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. Tho annual general meeting was held in tho pavilion on Saturday, February 21st, when the committee reported that tho club- had had a successful season. Tho following were the winners of tho monthly buttons: —May, 0. \V. Bamfield; June, J. L. Black and N. F. Dunlop; July, J. S. Hunter; August, M. F. Gibson; September, F. O’Sullivan; October, J. L. Black; November, T. Gibson; December, A. Shand. Tho senior championship was -won. by J. L. Black. Tho junior championshixi was won by F. O’Sullivan. IMr T. Johnston was tho winner of tho handicap matchplay tournament. A silver cup presented by tho captain was won by J. L. Black. A silver cup presented by tho president was won by T. Gibson. Mr J. T. Bowness was tho winner of tho competition for tho Dr Cameron Challenge Shield. Tlie following officers were elected for the ensuing year;—President, Dr It. A. Cameron; vice-presidents, Messrs R." Dwyer, P. C. Watt and Professor Mcsecretary and treasurer, F. O’Sullivan; captain, J. T. Bowness: committee, A. G. Laurenson, Dr A. Pierard, J. C. Norman, A. G. Warwick, J. T. O’Sullivan and M. P. Donnelly; auditor, P. B. Green. _
