(From Our Own Correspondent.) MASTERTON, September 27. Private Frank W. Johnson, of Carterton, has died from wounds received in action. . Deceased was a hrother of Mr Alf Johnson, of Carterton, and of Private Nelander Johnson, who was killed two years ago at the front. Sergeant A. McKay, son of Mru M<v Kay, of Lincoln road, Mastarton, has been killed in action. There are 353 students enrolled at the Masberton technical school, of which 169 are free place pupils. ■ Private H. W. Lett, of Master-ton, will retuirn to New Zealand shortly.
