KARORI BOROUGH
The fortnightly meeting of the Karori Borough Council was held list evening. There Were present:—Tho Mayor (Mr B. G. H. Burn), Councillors A. Hamilton, L. P. Davies, H. Faire, T. Lewer, J. G. Raine, J. W. Henderson, W. C. Cooper and R. T. Pell. The report of the engineer stated that about 216 yards of metal had been delivered to the City Council and also that about 85 Yards were still in_ the quarry ready to be crushed, making a total of 300 yards since September 2nd. Nine building permits had been granted, during the quarter ending September 30th, valued at £3335. There were under consideration three other permits valued at £1670, making a total of £5005 for the period mentioned.—The report was adopted.
