MAITAI FROM SYDNEY. Tho Maitai is expected to arrive at Wellington ' from Sydney at 6 o clock this evening. __ KARAWA'S movements. The Northern Company's local, agents advise that the Rarawa will leave pnehungn on Tuesday the 26th instant for New Plymouth and will Bad on the return trip on Wednesday tho instant, instead of on Monday the 2oth instant and Tuesday the 26th instant respectively. , ■ TURAKINA DUB FRIDAY. To-day the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Turakina is to leave Auckland for Wellington in continuation of her voyage from Condon. She ■« duo here on Friday. THEMIS FOB WELLINGTON. Messrs G. H. Scales advise that the Barber Lin# cargo steamer Ihomis, 74Utous Captain Gulliksea, left New York on September 10th Wellington and Sydney, via Panama Canal. The ves sel should reach Wellington about the 26th instant. , OCEAN MONARCH TO LOAD. The cargo steamer Ocean Monarch has been fixed to take the December loadinf? for London in Now Zealand, under the auspices of the Shaw, Saydl and Albion Company. The Ocean Monarch, owhed by W Uliam Gillies, Glasgow js n steel vessel of 4511 tons grote, and 2945 tons net, built in 1904 at Port Glasgow. Tho vessel left London on September 25th for Fremantle. THE AMOKUBA. 1. The Government steamer Amokurahas been cruising outside Queen Charlotte Sound and anchors in .the Sound at night time, i The vessel will arrive at Pioton to-day for fresh provisions and then goes out into the Strait again. She will be back at Pioton on Saturday and will remain .1 hero until Monday' morning. BIHUTAKA SAILS TO-MORROW. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the departure of the Bimutaka. from Wellington for London, via Monto Video and Teneriffe, has been postponed "till noon to-morrow; KIA ORA LEFT LONDON. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Ida Ora left London last Friday for New Zealand ports. She is due hero about November 24th. MIMIRO'S MOVEMENTS. Tho G. and D. liner Mimiro is due al iJluff next Saturday from Sydney to load in New Zealand foil London. Tho vessel is expected at Wellington about next Monday week and will make this her last port before sailing for Australia and London. THE HINEMOA. The Government steamer Hinemoa landed at Capo Campbell lighthouse on Monday, and at Gastlopoint yesterday morning, after which «he proceeded on to Portland Island. Tim vessel will work tho lighthouse ut the latter place to-day and will next visit East Cape lighthouse. STAR OF SCOTLAND, Tlie C. and D. liner Star of Scotland arrived at Melbourne last Saturday from London. The vessel proceeds next to Sydney, Auckland. Napier, and Wellington, and is due hero towards tho end of the month.
