SHUNTING ACCIDENT
' Prus Association. ELTHAM, July 7. William Johnston, aged twenty-two, a porter, was shockingly injured at the railway station last night. He was engaged in shunting operations, when he slipped on the rails and a truck ran over him. His left leg was badly crushed, and he was taken to Stratford Hospital, where the leg .was amputated from the thigh. The patient’s condition is serious.
