THE SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY.
There was a crowded audience at tho Sailors’ Friend Society last evening, when bliss Mueller provided a most delightful entertainment.. Mr James Moore (niisskmcr) occupied the chair. The following contributed vocal and elocutionary items to the programme: Mesdames Downes, Claridgc, Misses Fairclough, Millward, Penney, Mueller, Messrs Downes, Adams, and Clark (R.M.S. Corinthic). Mrs Downes played tho accompaniments. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the performers at the conclusion.,
