INCREASED RATE COLLECTION. B/ Telegraph—Press Association —CopjrlcM SYDNEY, May 20. A financial statement submitted to the City Council showed that during the past throe years the value of city property increased by £504.203 upon the rental value, and £3,049.567 upon the unimproved capital value basis, representing an increased rate collect(pn, without altering the amount in the pound, of £61,013. The estimated expenditure for 1914 exceeds that of 1913 by £83,567. The total estimated rate return is £449,739. MR HOLMAN'S PROGRAMME.
