THE FATAL FIRE
ONE SUFFERER’S CONDITION CRITICAL. Reports from the hospital late last night showed that Marion Higginson, Cissy O’Neil, and Andrew Regan, three of those who were injured in the fatal fire at the Manchester Private Hotel on Sunday morning, were progressing favourably* J. Smith, the fourth injured one, however, was in a very critical condition. He was very badly burned about tho head and body. He is a single man, thirty-three years of age. The body of th© man who was burned to death has not yet been identified.
The inquest will he opened at the courthouse by Mr ,D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., this afternoon.
