THE ASSOCIATION GAME
HOSPITAL CLUB. The seventh annual meeting of the Bbspital , Club was held on Friday last, Mr G. C. Holder presiding. The annual report congratulated members oh a most successful season. In the senior league championship the team 'played 10 matches, won 8, lost 1, and drew 1, scoring 35 .goals and having 10 registeied against them. The team won the senior Charity Cup for the second season in succession. The final (with Y.M.C.A. proved a very hard struggle, Hospital winning by 1 goal to nil. Two matches were played against the team from H.M.S. New Zealand, both of which were won by Hospital. The report mentioned that since the formation of the club 114 matches had been played, of which 82 were won, 20 lost, and drawn. Out of the 20 defeats! 12 matches were lost during the first two seasons. During the last five seasons the club has played 84 matches, won 71, lost' 8, and drawn 5. The club was represented in representative matches by. Messrs Roots, Hughes, Skinner, Cress, andr Daily. The report was adopted.
The election of officers for the ensuing season resulted as follows: President, Dr Hassell; vice-presidents, Dr McKillop, Dr Simpson Dr McPherson, Messrs Anderson, Barnes, Carter, Holder, Hewitt, Pearce, Riach; captain, Mr E. Cross; vicecaptain, Mr A. Wallis; hon. secretary arid treasurer, Mr W. B. Hicks (reelected); management committee, Messrs. Stewart, Dickey, Russell, Vickers, Roots; selection committee. Dr McKillop, Messrs Barnes, Stewart, Cross, Wallis; trainers, Messrs Russell and Singleton; delegates to W.F.A., Messrs Hicks, Roots, Stewart, , ■ '
