The Christchurch Presbytery yesterday celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of its establishment, says a Press Association telegram. Suitable resolutions were carried at a meeting of the Presbytery, and there was a large gathering of ministers and elders at lunch. Regretful reference was made at the meeting of the Presbytery to the approaching departure of the Rev. T. Tait. who has accented a call to the Chalmers Church, Adelaide.
