RESULTS OF PAST YEAR’S WORKING. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, February 11. The twenty-sixth annual meeting of the Christchurch Aleat Company, Ltd., was held this afternoon. The report stated that the natural course of the season was considerably affected during the earlier months of the year by serious labour difficulties, which were, however, satisfactorily overcome and the output for the year from the various factories of the company reached a total of 1,343,312 head, being only very slightly short of the ; quantity treated in the previous season.

After making provision for depreciation on various works and plant the balance available for appropriation 's £43,306 4s lid, which " the directors recommend should be disposed of as follows:

To special reserve to meet expenditure at Pukeuxi (new works near Oamaru) £20,000. To pay dividend of 4 per cent, for half-year ended October Slat, 1313 (making 8 per cent, for year), £6760. To p<ay bonns of 2 per cent, on paidup Leaving amount to carry forward £13,156 4s lid.
