The newspaper “ Journal de Paris,” in announcing that the railway from Dares-Salaam (German East Africa) to Tanganyika has been completed, points out that it is the first step towards the realisation of a scheme to place Central Africa under Germany’s sway, and to drain the riches of the colonial empires of Portugal and Belgium.
