RESENT APPEAL FOR FUNDS. FROM OLYMPIC COUNCIL. By Telegraph-Press Association—Copyrlgln (Received February 10, 9.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 10.
The secretary of the New South Wales Rugby League, in a letter in reply to the appeal for an Olympic fund, says that the amateur sporting federation, haring debarred league players without distinction from participating in amateur sport, amateurism should now have more .decency than to appeal for funds to anybody associated with the Rugby League. If the restrictions were removed the leaguers would be pleased to' subscribe.
