Mr Edmond Thery comforts French investors interested in economic developments in Russia by. stating that the whole of the Russian Empire, including Siberia, is progressing rapidly. French capital is a factor in this development. The money has been splendidly invested. In twelve years there has been a 35Jt million increase in population. Before 1950, continuing at this rate of progress, Russia would have 14 millions more people than the aggregate of Germany, Austria, Britain, Italy, and France. M. Thery emphasises the necessity for Baby France keeping a tight hold on her big brother’s hand.
