BODIES FOUND
ANNIVERSARY DAY TRAGEDY. Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 9. Searcli parties on Saturday evening found tho bodies of Myrtle Amelia Rowan and Robert Wilfred Gordon, who were lost from the launch Artono in a very rough sea, on the evening of Anniversary Day. The bodies had been washed on to the rocks of Rangitoto Island.
At tho inquest to-day tho coroner returned a verdict of .accidental drowning, and referred in complimentary terms to the action of young Gordon who had lost his life in an endeavour to save the girl.
