The British Cabinet has decided against official participation in the San Francisco Exhibition on the ground of expense. GERMAN COMMITTEE DISSOLVED. BERLIN, December 18. Herr Ballin' states that the nonofficial committee set up to organise representation at the San Francisco ‘Exhibition will be dissolved owing to considerations of national tact, and the impossibility of organising without financial support. [Herr Ballin proposed a scheme for a German manufacturer’s exhibit at the San Francisco Exposition witho'ut Government aid, and it was reported that lie had secured unofficial Government support.
