BOUND FOR CANADA
CADETS TO VISIT THE TORONTO EXHIBITION.
FBBSS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, August 2. Tho twenty cadets who have been picked from the Dominion in the response to the, invitation, of the. Canadian Lovemmenc in'connection with the competitions that are to be held at Toronto r/xhibinou, leave Auckland by tho jj-aicura this evening- for Vancouver. The boys arrived by the Alain Trunk express train from Wellington in charge of Captain Fuilerton, wno is taking them over to Canhda. The contingent assembled at tne drill hall this afternoon, and was inspected by Colonel Logan, officer commanding the Auckland district, who said he was sure they w'ould worthily represent New Zealand in Canada, and. wished them a pleasant trip, every success, and a safe return. The boys were then played do mi to the steamer by tho Auckland Pine Band, and attracted much attention as they marched down Queen street.
