ROWING CLUB.
Tho eleventh annual meeting of the Petone Bowing Club was held on Monday evening. In the club’s boathouse, Mr E. Moore presiding. Tho report and balance-sheet presented shows the olnb to ho In a very satisfactory condition, tho assets over liabilities being £405. The secretary reported that tho club had a membership of upwards of sixty members. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted: Patron. Mr R. Mothos- president, Mr A. G. Saunders: vice-presidents, Messrs R. IV. Short, J. Cotton. R. O. Kirk, B. Dyer, B. L. Barnes, H. J. Palmer, Dr Rose. H. Burrldge, L. Burrldpe; captain, Mr B. Tremaln; vico-captaln, Mr H. Parrant: secretary. Mr H. Adamson; treasurer, Mr J. E. Wilson: committee, Messrs P. Arrowsmlth, E. Oomettl, W. Hume, J. Kirk J. Hickey. C. Burridve, I. Ingram: racing committee, Messrs 0. Tremaln, O. Burridge, P. Arrowsmlth: delegates to ■Wellington Association, Messrs Tremaln, Burrldge and Moore: delegate to New Zealand Association, Mr B. Tremaln.
