LINE OF STEAMERS
BETWEEN AUSTRALIA AND SOUTH AFRICA. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright MELBOURNE, December 9. The Federal Prime Minister, Mr Fisher, confirms the statement that the South African Union Government had proposed the establishment of a lino of steamers between South Africa and Australia, to be jointly owned by the Commonwealth and South Africa. Mr Fisher added that the matter had not reached any stage of development.
