FOUND WITH THROAT CUT

INQUEST ON ARCHIBALD BUCHANAN. Archibald Buchanan, the man who was found with his throat cut at the Ross Private Hotel, Vivian street, on Tuesday last, died at tho hospital shortly before half-past eight on Friday evening. An inquest touching his death was conducted by Dr A. McArthur, S.M., district coroner,. on Saturday afternoon. The evidence showed that deceased, who was proprietor of the hotel, had only come from Bluntly—where he had resided for about forty . years—a fortnight ago. For. some time he had , been suffering from insomnia and bis sight and hearing were bad. He . had no financial troubles. A verdict was returned that deceased died from septic pneumonia due to wounds in tho throat, evidently selfinflicted whilst temporarily insane.
