UNREST AMONG EMPLOYEES

LONDON, December 7,
Much unrest prevails among the postal employees owing to ]Mr Herbert Samuel, Postmaster-General, refusing nn inquiry into their wages and conditions until 1913; when a commission is to be appointed after a Board of Trado inquiry regarding tho cost of living. It is reported that tho extremists surge a strike at Christinas. Tho Prime Minister, in tho House of Commons, hinted that tho Government would favourably consider tho earlier appointment of a committee of inquiry regarding the postal employees’ wages.
