At tho inquest on her daughter Una, who was shot dead, tho arresting constable 1 deposed that Lawless gave no reasons for tho deed, and said, “ Poor little Una. I must have been mad. I wish I was dead. I don’t want a doctor to save me to be hanged.” Tho deceased girl’s father stated that Lawless was formerly a regular visitor at liis home, but since last year had not Ween friendly.
