WEATHER DELAYS SHIPPING
Continuous steady cain at Wellington throughout yesterday considerably hampered cargo handling. Consequently the departures of the following vessels were postponed till to-day:—Rosamond, for Oncirnnga via ports; Koonya. for New’ Plymouth and West Coast; Haupiri, for Picton, Bast Coast and Auckland; Tongariro, iTxr Lyttelton; Ascot, for Lyttelton and Dunedin; Aorerc-, for Pa/tea; Wakatu, for Krniioura and Lyttelton; Quocn of the South, for Boston; Opawa, for Blenheim; Moa, far Wanganui; and Blenheim, tor Blenheim.
