RAILWAY SUPERANNUATION
.Retiring allowances amounting to £1215 13a were granted to seventeen contributors by the Railway Superannuation Board at its quarterly meeting yesterday. Allowances to five widows and six children of deceased contributors were approved, involving an annual charge of £l6B, and £l2 13a 7d was ordered to be repaid to a member, representing the dillercnco between benefits received and his actual contributions. To 110 members' of the service who have resigned or have retired from various causes, neiunds of contributions were authorised totalling £3060 17s sd.
