BOYS’ RESCUE HOME.
TO BE ESTABLISHED IS WELLINGTON. Within & very short time a Rescue Home for Boys will be established in or near Wellington by the diocesan authorities. A strung temporary committee, of which the Vcn. Archdeacon Harper is chairman, is already taking the necessary preliminary steps, and. laid its proposals before an informal mooting of the Diocesan Synod yesterday. It was then reported that although no funds had yet been asked for. close on £IOO had already been given. The committee decided to call a public meeting to elect the first board of directors within the next few weeks.
