CHESS ASSOCIATION
The adjourned quarterly meeting of tlio Council of the New Zealand Chess toon was continued last night. Mr Dalrymp]e presided, and there were also present Messrs Barnes, -Kelling, James, Fell, and Mason.
The special busines? for the meeting was ttie revision of the rules for the conduct of tTio annual chess congress. The proposed amendment* were purely technical, and Interesting only to such chess players, as regularly play at the annual tournament.
