SLY GROG-SELLING
PEESS ASSOCIATION. TAIHAPE, January 6.' The S.M. to-day fined James MeCullock, boardinghousekeeper, ,£5, with costs, for selling a bottlo of beer without having a license. To-day John Ryan, for sly grog selling, was sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment with hard labour; and John Cryer, for theft of whisky, to fourteen days' imprisonment with hard labour.
