ARRESTED FOR FORGERY
PEESS ASSOCIATION, CHRISTCHURCH, January 6. A smart capture was effected this evening by Detective Miller, stationed at Lyttelton. About 5 o'clock word was received in Christchurch that a man was wanted for having forged and uttered a chjeque for .£IOO on the Bank of New Zealand at Oamaru. He was believed td be attempting to leave by the Sydney Information was forwarded to Lyttelton, with the result that the, detective found and arrested the wanted man.
