THE BEGA WRECK
A CROWDED RAFT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright SYDNEY, April 10. The captain of the wrecked steamer Bega states that the raft on which some of the shipwrecked passengers were placed was fully laden, and was very deep in the water, The occupants were wet to above the waists all tho time, and so crowded were they that some had to sit or He on the body of the dead passenger.
