A DISMASTED VESSEL.

PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, November 3. The ship Iquique reported to Capo Maria lighthouse that a vessel, name not given, was dismasted, steering west. The Collector of Customs, after making inquiries, is unable to ascertain the locality of the vessel, otherwise the Marine Department would probably send ‘a tug to her assistance. He awaits the arrival of the steamer Victoria, from Sydney, which may meet the disabled ship.
