“PARLIAMENT OF LABOUR.’
FIXED FOR FEBRUARY. The Agricultural, Industrial and Labour Conference, postponed in deference to tho wishes of a number of people, has been fixed to open in Christchurch on February 13th next. All the various societies, associations, and other bodies interested are being communicated with by the 1 Labour Department. They are being asked to forward lists of those matters which in their opinion should bo brought forward for discussion, and the request is made that such information be forwarded to tho department on or before January 35th, 1906. The- purpose of tills is to enable suggested subjects to bo given a position on the agendapaper, which will be printed, and copies sent to cadh body to he represented prior to the date on which the conference is asked to assemble.
