RIOTING AT SANTIAGO.
DUTY ON ARGENTINE MEAT. VALPARAISO, October 24. Great rioting occurred in Santiago owing to the Government’s refusal to abolish the duty on Argentine meat. Twelve people were killed and one hundred wounded. Two hundred were arrested. - The troops were called out, and restored order.
