RAILWAY CONTRACTS; LONDON, April 5. Dr Morrison, the Pekin correspondent of “The Times,” describing tho final contract of the Anglo-German Tiontsin-Ohinkiang trunk railway,, emphasises tho anxiety with which Chinese officials in Shantung witness Britain’s assistance in tho development of tho German policy. Tho correspondent mentions that the new demands advanced secure a German monopoly of mining in Shantung.
